These expenses include such things as expenses incurred by attending depositions, travel expenses, and meeting with attorneys. After the case is accepted as a "no win no fee" case, the Qui Tam litigation funding agency will distribute the money to the plaintiff upon approval. In some cases, however, the court may require the plaintiff to repay the settlement advance before any money is disbursed. There is no maximum amount that the plaintiff must repay. upon settlement.
